Home Visits for Cats and Small Animals

Q: How often will you come?

A: Our normal visiting hours are between: Mornings 8.30am-10.00am, Lunch 11.30 - 2.00pm, and Evenings 4.30pm - 7.00pm. Each visit will last between 20-30 minutes (depending on how many animals to be cared for).

Q: Where are my house keys held?

A:
Your keys will be held in a safe secured place. We do not address them with your personal information for security purposes.  The keys will be handed back to you at the end of the contract period.

Q:  What if I need to cancel a booking that is no longer required?

A:  As we may have to decline additional bookings, for all cancellations made within 7 days of your visit date, FluffyPaws reserve the right to charge at the full rate for cancelled visits.

Q:   What will happen if I am unable to get home?

A:   In the unfortunate event that you are held up due to bad weather, delay in flights or illness etc, FluffyPaws will continue to make regular visits to your pets until we have  notification from you that you are safely back home.  All additional costs incurred will be met by the owner at the end of the extended contract.

For Dog Boarding/Doggie Day Care

Q:  Do you need to see proof of vaccinations?
A:  Yes we need to check your dog has had all necessary vaccinations, health checks, wormed and flea treatment carried out.

Q:  Will you exercise my dog whilst in your care?
A:  Yes we will exercise your dog at least one hour per day. They will also have the run of the garden and lots of interaction with our family dog.

Q:  How many dogs do you care for at one time?
A:  We will only accept one dog at a time which provides a calmer environment for your pet. We like to ensure they are settled nicely into our home and mix well with our family dog.

Q:  What do I need to provide for my dog during their stay?
A:  We ask owners to provide bedding, special toys, chews, food/water bowls, food/treats and lead.  Please provide any other items which will make your dog more comfortable and feel at home.

Q:  Will my dog be walked on or off the lead?
A:  Your dog will be walked on the lead unless you provide us with permission to walk them off the lead.  They must be able to recall well when taken off the lead.

Q:  Where do you walk the dog?
A:  We have a selection of local parks where your dog will be walked and able to interact with other dogs, to run and play.

Q:  Would FluffyPaws collect and return my dog to my home?
A:  Please be advised that we ask clients to drop their dogs at our premises and to also collect their dogs at the end of the day.  These times will be arranged and discussed at the initial consultation meeting.

Q:  What if I need to cancel a booking that is no longer required?

A:  For Dog Boarding - A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable when your booking is made.  If you cancel more than 30 days before date of commencement no further charges will be applicable.  Between 7 and 30 days a further 25% is due (total 75%).  If you cancel within 7 days of commencement the remaining 50% will be payable.

A:  For Day Care - Please allow 24 hours notice if you need to cancel a day care.
If cancelling a day care for Monday please notify me on the previous Friday so that the place can be offered to another dog over the weekend. Failure to give 24 hours notice will result in a full days charge.
