Please go to our Download tab and click on the Fluffypaws Pet Services Agreement. Please complete, where possible, sign, date the agreement, and email form back to us. If you are unable to do this method we can go through the agreement by phone, and then bring this along at introduction stage, for signature.
Once we have received your agreement, we will contact you to organise a mutually convenient appointment to meet you and your pets and run through the daily tasks required. At this time, we will require a non-refundable 50% deposit of the total booking cost. Payments can be made via bank transfer or cash deposits. The remaining balance is due at the end of the pet sitting period and no later than 3 working days. All house keys will be returned by arrangement.
As we may have to decline bookings due to busy schedules, for all cancellations made within 7 days of your visit start date, Fluffypaws reserve the right to charge you at the full rate for cancelled visits. If cancellations are due to COVID pandemic, these bookings will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
Please notify Fluffypaws as soon as you return home. We understand that your plans may change during travel. We (and your pets) would greatly appreciate if you can keep us informed of any change to plans.
To guarantee your pets’ well being, we will automatically continue to make visits if the contractual end date has passed and we have not been informed of your return, or are not able to contact you via emergency numbers. If you return early, please inform us straight away, so that we will not make unnecessary visits to your pets.
Unfortunately, Fluffypaws cannot guarantee a specific arrival time but we will do our best to arrive close to your preferred time, but we must allow for a one hour window in case of traffic and/or unforeseen issues.
Please ensure that Fluffypaws has all the necessary Emergency contact information before you leave home. Ensure contact numbers are up to date so that we do not have to disturb you whilst you are away unless circumstances are unforeseeable.
Fluffypaws will require a key to your home before you leave. We will NOT pick up or leave keys “under the mat” due to safety issues. In addition, we will NOT lock keys in the house after the last visit, as we must be able to access your home in case you are delayed and your pet needs additional visits. Many of our clients enjoy the comfort of knowing that if something comes up (e.g. working late, appliances left on etc.) their pet sitter has a key and is more than happy to help out in these circumstances.
All keys are kept in a secure locked safety box, with distinguishing labels known only by the pet sitter.
During our visits we want to spend quality time with your pets rather than searching for supplies. Please ensure your sitter knows the location of all supplies, and that you have enough pet food, litter, and any other necessary provisions for the entire time that you are away.
Fluffypaws will always do everything possible to get to your home and care for your pet(s). However, we. May be delayed and/or unable to get to your home if roads are closed or impassable due to ice, snow, floods etc. In the event of a disaster, we will do everything possible to attend to your companion and secure your home, but will not be held liable if unable to do so.
